Phots for Mac can create a new library from an Aperture Library or an iPhoto Library, but there is no support for Picasa.

Plastikman recycled plastik rare. Historically looking, 'Recycled Plastik' is quite probably Richie Hawtin's most important release under the Plastikman name. That is mainly due to the inclusion of the acid head nodder Krakpot, and the two tight minimal numbers Elektrostatik and Spastik, neither of which should need an introduction. Oct 09, Recycled is a collection of the work Richie Hawtin produced between Sheet One and Musik. And percussive stomps of Spaz and Naturalistik, this is Plastikman in 'I'm gonna give you one hell of a headschluck' mode. He then moved on to the more organic Muzak and then beyond. Released a few months before Richie Hawtin offered his second Plastikman album, Musik, the six-track Recycled Plastik EP is anchored by 'Spastik,' a nine-minute whirlwind of 909 percussion and nothing else. The track is downright staggering, especially when Hawtin unleashes the monstrous bass drum kicks after several minutes of slow buildup. Because the song was composed entirely on the Roland.

If Picasa can show you where the folders with your photos are, use 'File > Import' in Photos to import the folders and add them to the Photos Library. Photos 3.0 on High Sierra has an option in the Import panel 'Keep folder organization'. If you enable this option when importing folders with photos and videos, Photos will automatically create folders and albums to match the folder structure in the Finder.

I too am a fan of Google's Picasa. There new Google Photos is a pale comparison to the ease of Picasa. I have switched though to ACDSee for the mac. I used to use it years ago. It's faster than Google Picasa and it's database structure is similar. Also the latest macOS Catalina removed Google's Picasa and other 32-bit apps.
