Kotor Crashes After Character Creation

This is ooooddd. The game has been running fine for the past two days, bar an odd overload crash here and there, nothing worrying. However today the game crashed, and now when I log in, I can get to my character selection screen, I click 'Play', the loading screen comes up, looks like it's loading, then the client will close itself. Thought it was a one off, but now keeps happening and I can't get on. So I can't play. Is this my fault, a server fault? Can anyone help me? Server: EU - Scepter of Ragnos. Thanks. | |
I recently installed KotOR 2 on my Lenovo Thinkpad T410 and it crashes right after the intro after the character creation. I googled and googled, then googled some more,then downloaded the bug fix, replaced the dll, tried turning off shadows and full screen.

Hmm, real turret ammo is shown number divided by 5. I will try to work from this one. I'm wrong here. I think it will be easier to mod game files themselves, to edit turret's ammo.

To try and fix it i ran a repair installation this worked, and i thought that was the end of the problem.However today the game crashed, and now when I log in, I can get to my character selection screen, I click 'Play', the loading screen comes up, looks like it's loading, then the client will close itself. I went to work, and when i came back i had the exact same problem. i've had to run the repair instalation every time i wanted to play swtor for the last 3 days. It takes about 20-30minutes to repair, and regardless i should not have to run a repair everytime i want to play. Is it me or the game? and more importantly.. Is there a fix? | |
