The ICC files must be placed in the proper folder for your software to see and use them.

If you use Photoshop CS4 or earlier, or Photoshop Elements, restart your computer after following these instructions.

Step 1 - Extract / Unzip the file you downloaded from our website

On most Windows computers, the zipped file will look like a folder with a zipper.

1) Right click on the folder and choose 'Extract All' then follow the instructions.

2) You will see a duplicate folder that is now unzipped. Delete the zipped folder.

3) Now double click on the new folder to see the contents.

Double click the newly extracted folder to see its contents. You will see an instructions document (either PDF or TXT) and the profile.

The profile will contain the name of the paper and your printer model. It will have a .ICC or .ICM file extension.

Note, your folder display may look different than the image at right. Regardless of how it looks, you will still see the two items mentioned above.

Step 2 - Install the profile

When you open the Now right click on the profile and select 'Install Profile'.

Restart Photoshop and the profile will be ready for use.

NOTE - If you do not see 'Install Profile' then something has gone wrong. The most likely reason is that you have not unzipped / extracted the folder.

Go back to Step 1 and recheck your work.

Manual Installation for Windows

If you do not see the Install Profile selection, you either do not have the file unzipped properly, or there is a glitch in your Windows installation. In this case, just copy and paste the profile to the proper folder below.

For Windows 7-10, navigate to the 'Color' folder which is on this path:

Windows > System32 > Spool > Drivers > Color

The 'Windows' folder (the beginning of the path above) is reached by going to your root directory, usually the C Drive from My Computer or Computer menus.

Installation using Windows OS:

• Extract the downloaded .zip file by right clicking the zip folder and selecting “extract all”
• Right-click on the unpacked ICC Profile and select 'Install Profile'. The installation will only take a few seconds

Alternative installation method:

Manually move the .icc or .icm files to the following system directory:

• Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10 - C:/windows/system32/spool/drivers/color
• Windows 95, 98 - C:/windows/system/color
• Windows NT - C:/winNT/system32/color

Note: Please restart your graphics application (e.g. Photoshop) if it was open during the profile installation.

Installation using Mac OS:

• Double-click on the downloaded Zip file. The ICC Profile will be extracted in the same folder automatically
• Move or copy and paste the extracted ICC profile(s) into the necessary folder below, dependent on your OS version

Mac OS X El Capitan – Go menu > *hold down option key* > Library > ColorSync > Profiles folder

Mac OS X Yosemite and earlier – Macintosh HD > Users > *Username* > Library > ColorSync > Profiles folder

Mac OS 8-9x – System folder > ColorSync folder

Not seeing your ColorSync folder?

On a MAC running 10.7 and up, the 'library/colorsync/profiles' folder location may be locked by default and can only be unlocked by an admin. This results in the inability of a user to install your ICC print profiles per the normal instructions. You need to unlock the profile folder in order to install printer profiles.

Unlock the profile folder by:

• select the profile folder
• select file/get info (top line menu bar)
• click on unlock icon (bottom right of dialog box) and provide admin passwords
• change folder access state to read and write.
• click and drag (or copy and paste) the profile into the folder
• reverse the process.

Note: Please restart your graphics application (e.g. Photoshop) if it was open during the profile installation.
